Cheers to a Successful Bar Night Fundraiser

At Cycle for Suz we pride ourselves on have a strong community of people who believe in our mission and have a strong desire to give back to build a better tomorrow. Nothing better exemplifies this community than our friends Ben Levine, Danny Kaplan, Alex Ripka, Victor Bergman and Ross Feidler. These gentlemen learned about the work we were doing and that Cycle for Suz had a charity spin ride at SoulCycle on May 18th and were inspired to organize their own fundraiser.  

The guys pitched the idea of partnering with one of their favorite local bars to host an event to raise money for Cycle for Suz. They proposed that we sell wristbands for $20 as a donation to Cycle for Suz and patrons with a wristband would get a $2 discount off all their drinks. The bar loved the idea and so did the Cycle for Suz team, so we put the plan to action!  

They took to social media and personal text and email messaging to spread the word about the event to everyone they knew and by 7:30 pm the bar began to buzz. With the room filled to near capacity, the guys collected money for wristbands and by the end of the night, they had raised over $2,400 for Cycle for Suz!
