Remembering The Champ and Helping Those in Need

Muhammad Ali, often referred to as “The Greatest”, fought tirelessly in and out of the ring to bring social justice and change to the country and the world. He was a great athlete, but an even greater activist, philanthropist and spokesman for the civil rights movement. Today marks the 3 year anniversary of his passing, but his legacy lives on and continues to motivate and inspire generations of “fighters” to bring change to the world.

We at Cycle for Suz like to think we are some of those “fighters” that remember and are inspired by the passion and ferocity with which Muhammad Ali fought his many battles outside the boxing arena. Our opponent may be different, but it is just as unrelenting. Cancer affects most of us in one way or another, whether a first hand diagnosis or the diagnosis of a family member or friend, we proudly join the fight to knock out Cancer for good!

Cycle for Suz works with many partners to make this happen. First and foremost we partner with Bright Pink, an organization that aims to educate young women so they can make choices about their health. Learn more about Bright Pink here: https://www.brightpink.org/ . We are also incredibly proud to call Bombas a part of our tag team. Bombas makes the most comfortable socks in the world and we are so lucky that we have been able to give a pair of Bombas socks to everyone that has joined Cycle for Suz for a charity ride over the last few years. With every pair of socks sold, Bombas donates a pair to a person in need, such as homeless shelters, where socks are the most asked for article of clothing. Today, on the anniversary of Muhammad Ali’s passing, Bombas will be donating 100 socks to the homeless in Ali’s hometown of Louisville, KY for every instagram post that tags @Bombas and #WhatIFightFor. We posted today and hope you will do the same so we can fill a huge need!
